Important Account Limitations

While cross-save adds significant flexibility, there are specific constraints to keep in mind to prevent data loss:

Key account rules at a glance

LimitationWhat it meansWhy it matters
Account pairingOnly one account per platform can be linked to a single Pearl Abyss ID.Each platform connection is exclusive.
Storage capacityEach Pearl Abyss ID can use only one active cross-save slot.Players need to save progress manually.
Unlinking riskIf all platforms are unlinked from a Pearl Abyss ID, any cloud cross-save data is permanently deleted.Keeping a local save is important when cycling linked accounts.
