Diablo 4 is marking its third anniversary with a week-long celebration packed with in-game bonuses. Players can look forward to increased experience gains, the return of the popular March of the Goblins event, and a daily giveaway of free cosmetic items. This event offers a fantastic opportunity for both new and veteran players to dive back into Sanctuary and reap significant rewards.
June 1–9
The anniversary celebration stacks daily cosmetic claims with a week of bonus XP and goblin-hunting rewards.
The anniversary’s gameplay rewards center on two overlapping bonuses: accelerated leveling and more loot opportunities.
From June 2nd to June 9th, players get a multiplicative XP buff across both the seasonal and Eternal realms.
The boost especially helps endgame players, where both gold and experience matter more for character progression.
Also starting June 2nd, treasure goblins appear more often, creating more chances to grab valuable loot.
A reputation board adds another incentive by granting further rewards for successfully hunting goblins.
Blizzard is sweetening the anniversary celebration by offering five days of free premium cosmetics. Players can visit the Diablo 4 in-game shop daily from June 1st to June 5th to claim these exclusive items:
| Date | Item | Type |
|---|---|---|
| June 1 | Blood Raven's Talon | One-handed Sword |
| June 2 | King Kanai's Last Stand | Shield |
| June 3 | Nangari Wounder | Dagger |
| June 4 | Overlord's Odium | Two-handed Axe |
| June 5 | Flamefinger's Claws | Glaive |
This anniversary celebration follows the recent release of Diablo 4's second expansion, Lord of Hatred. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the franchise, being the first to receive more than one add-on. Lord of Hatred introduced substantial changes to the game's endgame, including War Plans, the Horadric Cube for itemization, revamped class skill trees, an overhauled difficulty system, and two new classes: the Paladin and Warlock. These additions aim to make Diablo 4 feel like a fresh experience, though Blizzard acknowledges the rapid pace of changes can be challenging for players to keep up with.
The game's meta continues to evolve, with recent bug fixes leading to unexpected player immortality and the discovery of Mythic Unique Charms significantly altering the concept of a 'perfect' build for those fortunate enough to find them.
