Following a decade of influence in the supercar market, the McLaren 720S platform is reaching its conclusion. The 2027 McLaren 788HS arrives as the final evolution of this architecture, blending performance upgrades with racing-inspired engineering to provide a definitive closing statement.

At the core of the 788HS lies a retuned version of the M840T 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine. It produces 777 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. In terms of gasoline-only output, this places the vehicle behind only the McLaren Senna variants. With a dry weight of 2,789 pounds, the car achieves a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 mph.
